John T Symicek died sometime after midnight on Sunday at his home presumably of a heart attack. He did have a heart condition.
Son of Joseph and Kathryna Symicek/Symitzek (1845-1934)
He married in 1901 to Francis Dubiel, she died in 1921.
He married in 1923 to Mrs Sophie (Klimek) Nogosek.
Survivors are: His wife; five sons,
1. Aloizey J (1909-1966) and
2. Clements J (1915-1984) Whitehall;
3. August Anton (1917-1990) Fall Creek, Wis.; later Texas
4. John R the Air Force in England, (later Riverside, CA) and
5. Joseph, La Crosse;
6. Anton (1904) died as infant
7. Simon (1916) died as infant
five daughters,
1. Mrs. Ignatz (Julia) Rombalski, Strum;
2. Mrs, Ed (Elizabeth) Sura,
3. Mrs. Carl (Mary) Matchey of Whitehall
4. Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Dejno, Independence, and
5. Mrs. Anton (Genevieve "Jennie") Woychik, La Crosse;
two stepsons, Simon Nogosek, Whitehall, and Adolph, Milwaukee; two stepdaughters. Sister Anselm and Mrs. Richard (Martha) Howell, Milwaukee; one brother, Joseph J (1884-1973), and one sister, Mrs. Peter (Catherine/Kate) Mylnek, both of Independence; 45 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Symicek was a member of Ss. Peter Paul's Society, Ihc Holy Rosary Society and the Holy Name Society. The funeral will he Thursday at !):30 a.m. at Ss. Peter Paul's Catholic Church, Independence, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Lucinn J. Kufel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call the Funeral Home, Independence, today and Wednesday. The Rosary will be said today and Wednesday at 8 p.m.
