Richard K. Kincaid, 90, of South Bend, IN passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 7:20 p.m. Richard was born December 14, 1925 in South Bend, IN to the late Willis E. and Faye (McCartney) Kincaid. On January 1, 1946 at Emmas Lutheran Church in South Bend, he married Joan E. (Keiser) Kincaid, who survives.
In addition to his loving wife of 70 years, Richard is survived by his sons, Jeffery A. Kincaid of Indiana, Robert A. (Jill) Kincaid of Edwardsburg, MI, and James A. (Cynthia) Kincaid of St. Joseph, MI; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Kincaid, Jr., Nicholas Kincaid, Brian Kincaid, Michael Kincaid and Ryan (Eve) Fox; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Isabelle, Mikayla and Lucas; two sisters, Gwen Stines of Granger, IN and Gail (Lowell) Holmes of Bradenton, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard retired after over 46 years of service as a pattern maker for Total Enterprises, LTD and CP Industries in South Bend. He was a long time member of Pattern Makers League of North America.
Richard was loved and respected by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services for Richard will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 and one hour prior to the services on Monday both at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.
