Mr. Donald Wayne Hendrix Sr., 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday after 4:00 PM. Mr. Hendrix was born August 23, 1936 in Puxico, Missouri to the late Wilburn Hendrix and Pauline (Hancock) Hendrix. He was a retired Truck driver for White Express. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Neal Hendrix and Glendon Hendrix.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Hendrix; one daughter, Charlotte Hendrix Hitchcock (Jeffery) of Mishawaka, Indiana; three sons, Donald Wayne Hendrix, Jr. (Bonnie) of Huntingdon, David Hendrix (Beatriz) of Homewood, Illinois, and Wilburn Lynn Hendrix of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, June Waggoner of Alton, Illinois; three brothers, Richard Dean Hendrix of Idaho, Allen Hendrix of Ida, Arkansas, and Charles Hendrix of Puxico, Missouri. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Melanie Eichstedt, Melissa Ann Hitchcock, Jeffery Hitchcock Jr., David, Richard, D.J. and, Daniel Hendrix, Trevor and Tyler Hendrix and three great grandchildren, Maddox Ortiz, Grayson Hendrix, and Quinn Eichstedt.
