LaVerne Durbin O'Bryan, 62, of Leitchfield, died Monday, March 22, 1999 at Woodland Terrace Health Care in Elizabethtown.
She was born on September 9, 1936 as the daughter of James Clyde and Cora Ausbon Durbin.
She was retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leonard Durbin, and a grandson, Ronnie McGee.
She is survived by a son, Robert Allen McGee; three sisters, Leola Garrett of Venice, Florida, Deloris Sue Millay of Louisville, Jeanette Sipes of Leitchfield; two brothers, Leland Durbin of Louisville, and Aubrey Durbin of Tennessee; one granddaughter, Maria McGee Smith of Leitchfield; and one great grandson.
The body was cremated.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hospice of Central Kentucky or the American Cancer Society.
