Ray Eugene Gottfried, age 81 of Stillwater, Oklahoma formerly of Perry, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Hillcrest Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.

Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2016 with the family receiving friends at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Friends may leave online condolences at www.brown-duggerfuneralhome.com

Ray was born July 19, 1935 in Payne County, Oklahoma to Mitis and Elsie (Jenkins) Gofffried. He grew up in the Perry, Oklahoma area and attended school in Perry. Ray served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. He worked in Construction for many years around the Perry, Oklahoma area.

Survivors include one son Brian and wife Janet Gofffried of Cumby, Texas; one daughter Rachel Gottfried of Sulfur Springs, Texas; two brother Cecil and Leon; one sister Ginger; five grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
