Robert Charles Baer, 83 of Birdsboro, PA died on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. Born September 19, 1933 in Amity Twp., Berks Co., PA, he was the son of the late John L. Baer and Esther (Fick) Baer. He was the husband of June (Johnson) Baer.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korea Conflict. Robert was a member of St. Paul's UCC- Birdsboro, PA, Birdsboro Sportsmen's Club, Stonersville Fire Co., American Legion Post #626, VFW Post #411, Monarch Fire Co., Birdsboro Union Fire Department, Neversink Rod and Gun Club and the Amity Lions Club.

Surviving along with his wife are 2 sons, Ricky A. husband of Martina Baer of Birdsboro, PA, Randy C. husband of Connie Baer of Exeter Twp., PA; 2 daughters, Bonnie L. wife of Perez Isom of Pemberton, NJ, Jeanne L. wife of Joseph Nuss of Exeter Twp., PA and 7 grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 North Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA. The Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Becker's St. Peters Cemetery, Fleetwood, PA.
