Born in Birmingham, Alabama, January 7, 1926, Helen was the daughter of C.E. and Winnie Bullard.
Helen , a graduate of Philips High School, was a continuous learner throughout her life and instilled the love of learning in her children.
For many years, Helen remained active in First Baptist Church of Trussville. She was a faithful volunteer, serving most notably as a Girl's Auxiliary (GA) leader, WMU member, Primary Sunday School teacher, and choir member.
Helen is survived by her soul-mate and husband of 71 years, Tom Homan, and her children, Patricia Lloyd (Tom); Peggy Connell (Jack); Joel Tim Homan (Jenny_; Pamela Gamel (Buddy); Todd Homan (Melicent); numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
