Mr. Abercrombie, 48, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2008 at his home in Concord.
Born August 17, 1960 in Charlotte, Mr. Abercrombie attended Harding High School and was a welder by trade.
His family includes his daughter and son, Tracy Abercrombie and Blaine Abercrombie, both of Mint Hill; his parents, Carroll Franklin Abercrombie and Myrtle Jean Abercrombie of Stanley County; sisters, Kim Abercrombie Miller and Kelly Jeanean Abercrombie; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Ashley, Brandon, Shane, Blair and Shannon.
His wife, Trina B. Abercrombie, preceded him in death in 1999.
A service to celebrate Mr. Abercrombie's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 21 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
