NORWOOD I. GLASSEY "Woody" October 24, 1918 - January 4, 2007 Woody thoroughly enjoyed 88 years before departing for his heavenly home on January 4, 2007. He completed Officer Candidate School in Maryland in 1942 and received a 2nd Lieutenant Commission in the US Army. He was promoted to Captain while serving in Italy during WWII. Woody was well liked and well loved by many and his talents were too numerous to list. His golf game was always a source of joy and his sharp wit was known far and wide. For now, he leaves behind his devoted wife Betty; his sisters Rhoda Hammond of CA, Norma Greenhalgh and Jocelyn Seaward, both of RI, and his brother Ralph Glassey of FL; his adoring daughters Jae Santa Anna of VT, Jill Grabowski and Sally Chobanian, both of MI, and his son Tom Chobanian, also of MI.
