Shirley, 87, passed away on November 20, 2016. She was born to Herbert and Sarah (Shondell) Vincent.

Shirley was a graduate of Haslett High School. She was employed by Warren Holmes Company, which later merged with MDBS Architects where she retired after 25 years. Shirley's family was extremely important to her, as well as her three cats, Maggie Mae, Sophia Blu and Teddy. S
She loved MSU Spartans, where she always rang her bell when they scored. Shirley will be missed by her family.

The family would like to thank Sparrow Hospice Nurses and Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for their compassionate care they provided.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dane; brother, Gary Vincent; grandson, Kyle Dane.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Jean (Jack) Dane-Priest, Kelly Begley and her finance Mike; son, Scott (Paulette) Dane; special son-in-law, David R. Simmons; grandchildren, Ryan (Maribel), Aaron, Scott Michael, Victoria, Julia; great-grand child, Kaleb; sister-in-law, Dorothea Boeckmann; very special nephews, Christopher (children: Joseph and Luc) and Terry Vincent (children: Chloe, Abigail and Julian).

A Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the St. James Catholic Church, Mason, MI with Reverend Kusitino Cobona officiating. Interment followed at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Lansing.
