Our mom was the queen of yard sales. Every Saturday brought the weekly yard sale outing for mom and dad.
She was a great cook, seamstress and gardener, who also loved to travel and fish. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She was always there for everyone.
Mom loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She played games with them, taught them to cook and sew and read to them. She was a guardian angel to all people, especially the ill.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil and Roy Collins; and stepson, Ronnie Evans.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Rondald Evans; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Sharon Williams; daughters and sons-in-law, Lavoun and Frank Augugliaro and Patricia and Al Price; daughter, Connie Evans; and daughter-in-law, Anne Evans.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
