Bonnie Lou Armentrout went to be with her Lord on October 29, 1999.
A daughter of the late Clyde E. and Pauline Wise Armentrout, she was born April 29, 1929, in Rockingham County.
Mrs. Armentrout lived all of her life in the Keezletown area. She graduated from Keezletown High School and was employed by Holsum Bakery of Verona and Leggetts Department Store of Harrisonburg. She was a member of Keezletown United Methodist Church.
On April 15, 1946, she married Calvin S. Armentrout, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Judy A. and Bill Hill and Donna L. and John Shifflett Jr., all of Keezletown, four granddaughters, one step grandson and two great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two sisters and their spouses, Linda Faye and Tony Boyer of Keezletown and Ruth and Kenny Fowler of Martinsburg, W.Va., four brothers and their spouses, Howard and Irene Armentrout of Keezletown, Clyde Armentrout of Havre De Grace, MD, Sam and Katherine Armentrout of New Market and Paul and Barbara Armentrout of Punta Gorda, Fl and numerous neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Calvin "Cooter" Reuwer.
Burial will be in the Keezletown Cemetery.
