Arthur McClellan Arenberg was born in Salida, Colo., June 19, 1927. He passed away on Jan. 19, 1929 at the family home, after an illness of one week with flu. He contracted an infection of the throat from the effects of flu and it together with a weakening of the heart, also from the flu, caused his death. It was at first feared the throat infection was contagious and a private funeral was ordered. Later the State Health Board found it not to be contagious, only as much as any sore throat. so the ban was removed. Arthur was a sweet, affectionate child, beloved by all who were fortunate enough to know him and his death came as a great shock to friends as well as relatives, as all indications looked as though he was getting better. He is survived by his parents, a little sister, Hermania, a half sister, Lucille Burton Williams, and two half brothers, Clinton and Hugh Burton, his grandparents and other aunts and uncles. They all reside in Texas except brothers and sister. Arthur was 19 months old on Jan. 19.--A Friend
