Jerome F. North, 80, of Syracuse, died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. He was an industrial arts teacher at East Syracuse-Minoa High School for 35 years. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley; three sons, Stephen (Janette) North of Rochester, Douglas (Catherine) North of Marcellus and David (Paula) North of DeWitt; one daughter, Cynthia (David) Wygonik of Greensburg, PA; eight grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tnpk., Onondaga Hill. Interment, Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Walt Bazydlo Scholarship Fund, c/o ESM-NS F.C.U., 7200 Kirkville Rd., E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
