Daniel Heagerty, retired New York Central employe died Monday morning at the family home, 35 East Sixth street.
Born in Oswego he was a life long resident of the Fourth ward.

As a young man he entered the employ of the railroad shop where he was a painter.
He was a member of Oswego Council Knights of Columbus, a communicant of St. Paul's Catholic church and also a member of the Holy Name Society.
He served as a member of the Board of Education from 1892 to 1896.

Surviving besides his widow, Mrs. Helen G. Heagerty are two sons, Leo, Montreal, Can. and Donald Heagerty, New York City; two daughters, Miss Katherine Heagerty, Long Island and Mrs. Merle North, Newburgh, N.Y.
