NORTH ATTLEBORO – Robert J. Beaupre, 78, of Mendon Rd. passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at home.
He was the loving husband of Joyce (Fisher) Beaupre for 56 years.
Born on February 23, 1938 in North Attleboro, MA. he was the son of the late Eli and Lois (Schofield) Beaupre.
Robert graduated from North Attleboro High School class of 1956 and attended his 60th class reunion this past September. He also took various courses at the Rhode Island School of Design.
He was honorably discharged from the Army where he was a military policeman in Korea. For over 30 years, he worked for Larson tool as a toolmaker then moved his way up to a foreman position.
Robert played in multiple golf leagues with friends but especially loved playing at Wading River with his beloved wife Joyce. He was good with his hands and a “Mr. Fix It” type of person able to help anyone with anything.
Robert is survived by 3 loving children: Melissa Wynn of North Attleboro, MA; Kelly Brown and her husband Robert of North Attleboro; Scott Beaupre and his wife Lindsay of Wrentham, MA. His 9 cherished grandchildren: Kimberly, Christopher and Jason Wynn, Stephanie Logan, Connor and Nicholas Brown, Lucy, Charles and Emerson Beaupre. His adored great-grandchild: Kaleb Logan.
He was brother to Denise (Cook) Williams of Algood, TN, the late Judy Parlin and the late Lee Beaupre.
Visiting hours will be held in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home 15 Grove St. North Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery with full military honors, 565 Mt Hope St., Attleboro Falls.
