He attended and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1974, and spent most of his childhood on his aunt and uncle's farm, which he enjoyed greatly. He spent most of his life driving professional truck, where he earned the name Chipper, that many of his friends and family had know him as.
On October 13, 1984, he married Robin Lynn Fritz at Salem United Church in Plymouth, WI.
Gary was avid reader, always having a book near him, usually one dealing with history of The Civil War or World War II. He loved attending The Civil War reenactments in Waldo, WI each year. He had a great sense of humor and was always good for a good, quick joke that could get the entire room laughing to tears.
Survivors include his two children: Callie (Ryan) Schimberg of West Allis, WI and Steven Weber of Plymouth, WI. Two siblings: Diane Weber of Plymouth, WI and Debra Balis of Waukesha, WI. Former wife: Robin (Ken) Ivey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Betty Weber, brother Robert "Bobby" Weber, an infant sister, brother-in-law Jeffery Balis, Aunt Marion "Toots" Klahn and Uncle John "Johnny" Klahn. Following Gary's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be NO VISITATION or SERVICE. Private family services will be held at Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the cardiovascular team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee for their love, compassion, and support shown to Gary and his family.
