He was born Dec. 23, 1949, in Pine Grove, a son of the late Arthur K. Hubler and Betty (D'Agostino) Scholl and Sherman Scholl. He was married to the former Grace Hoover. His death breaks a marital union of 47 years.
Toby was a 1967 graduate of the Scotland School for Veteran's children.
He had worked for Con Agra for 37 years.
Toby was a member Trinity Lutheran Church, Milton. He played fast pitch softball and was a softball umpire for several leagues including Milton Little League, ASA and Pony. In earlier years he was also a coach for Milton Little League, Milton Panther Cubs and Milton Teener league.
He was a fan of the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and Rusty Wallace. One of his greatest loves was supporting and spending time with his granddaughters. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and was a former member of the SMC.
In addition to his wife, Toby is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Wendy Hubler, of Milton; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Brian DeBaro, of Milton; three grandchildren, Oceanna DeBaro, Alexa DeBaro and Madison Hubler; one sister, Beverly Hubler; and one brother, Greg Scholl, of New Columbia.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Hubler.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning St., Milton. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. James H. Fladland officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
