Agnes Smith Anderson, 81, of Orange Park was called home to glory by the Lord March 31, 2007. She faced life true to her strong spirit with courage and determination. Her greatest legacy is her family. She provided lessons and memories that will carry each of us throughout our lives. Mrs. Anderson was a faithful and longtime member of Hope for Life Baptist Church and a two year lung cancer survivor. She enjoyed puzzles, Bingo, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She was preceded in death by: husbands, Billie Nash and Reese Smith; a son, Vincent Lee Smith; two grandsons, Billie and Michael Nash; and her brothers, William, Earl, Johnny, and Norell Aiken. Survivors include: Her husband, James W. Anderson; four daughters, Donna (Ken) Horowitz, Debbie (David) Carter-Atkinson, Beverly Stoothoff, and Meg Smith; three sons, Billie (Linda) Nash, Arnold Smith, and Joe (Sharrley) Smith; Honorary Children, Rick (Leslie) Elgin and Mary (Ron) Shepherd; two sisters, Helen Miller and Margaret Allen; a sister in love, Ruby Aiken; 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a caring church family and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 (TODAY) at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Corey - Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Pastor Gary Hudson officiating.
