On Thursday, November 24, 2016, Melva Jeanne Clark Adamson reached out to the arms of her loving Father in Heaven. Jeanne was born to Melva Lorraine Mort and Worcester Alexander Clark in Hill City, Kansas, May 30 1930. She married Thomas Stanford Adamson on March 9, 1951 in Waco, Texas.

Jeanne was a long time resident of Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was active with her husband Tom in western riding clubs for many years riding her bay gelding quarter horse, Peanuts. She also enjoyed harvesting and preserving her garden. Jeanne was a member of several quilting guilds. She made incredibly beautiful quilts for all her children, grandchildren, friends and many charities. She had many other talents that included sewing, oil, acrylic and tole paint, knitting, crocheting, tatting, as well as firing and dressing porcelain dolls. She was an active member of the LDS church and held many leadership positions throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas S. Adamson and grandson, Scott Robert Adamson, (Thomas) and William Joseph Johnston (Carrie). She is survived by her sister Kathryn Bernice Loveless, brot her Edward Clark, Sons Thomas Clark Adamson (Kathy), David Alan Adamson (Karen), daughters Carrie Johnston (Bill), Jeanne Leak (Kevin), 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016
