Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton. He died Sunday, March 31, at Edward Hines VA Hospital, Hines, Il.
Mr. Bollweg was a self-employed cabinet maker.
He was a World War II Navy veteran in the CB's and a lifetime member of the Warrenville VFW Post 8081.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella; his children, Susan (Charles) Ray of Crown Point, Ind., Carol Bollweg of Elgin, and Steven of Warrenville; his grandchildren, Christopher Ray of Phoenix, Ariz. and Kiersten Ray of Crown Point, Ind.; his great-grandson, Austin Ray of Crown Point, Ind.; his brothers, Harold (Martha) and Leroy "Tut" (Irene), both of Warrenville, and his sisters, Florence Stafford of Downers Grove, Anna Katich of Sun City, Fla., Mary (Robert) Farmer of Winter Haven, Fla., and Irene (Earl) Mueller of Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen, Margaret, and Dorothy.
Visitation was Monday, April 1, at the church.
