Well Known Anaconda Old Timer Dies After Long Illness.
ANACONDA, Sept. 29.--(Special)--Edward Patrick Crimmins, pioneer Anaconda man, passed away at his home at 108 West Commercial avenue, after an illness of three months.
Mr. Crimmins was born in Thorold, Canada, June 6, 1866. He came to Anaconda 35 years ago, where he became a contractor. He aided in the building of many buildings, among which are the courthouse, the Durston building, the McCallum building and St. Peters high school.
Mr. Crimmins took great civic pride in Anaconda. He has raised family of four children who have all graduated from the Anaconda schools and are continuing their education at various universities.
Mr. Crimmins was a member of the bricklayers' union and St. Paul's church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hanora Crimmins, and four children, Mrs. Fred Spellman, Ralph, Vincent and John Crimmins, who were at his bedside when he died. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.M. Dempsey of Berkeley, Calif., and Miss Ellen Crimmins of Vancouver, B.C.
