Marjorie Terflinger, 83, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2016.

Marge came to Wichita in 1957 with her husband, Curtis D. Terflinger, upon his appointment to the faculty of the University of Wichita. Marge and Curtis met in Great Falls, MT, in 1955. She was a kindergarten teacher and Curtis an Air Force JAG officer. She was a 1955 graduate of the University of Minnesota and he was a 1955 Law graduate of the University of Kansas. Marge was born in Fargo, ND, on March 27, 1933. Her parents were Dr. Harold H. Flor, a plant scientist, and Iva Hansen Flor. Marge and Curtis celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 16, 2016. Marge has been active in the Women's Association at Wichita State University, Botanical Gardens and University United Methodist Church.

Marge is survived by a sister, Marilyn Flor of Rockport MA; husband, Curtis; children, Richard D. Terflinger of rural Girard, KS, Linda K. Sadler of Kansas City, MO, Janet L. Moran of Leawood, KS; grandchildren, Jason L. Sadler, Kevin D. Sadler and Rachel N. Moran, all living in the Kansas City area.

A Celebration Of Life service will be 10:30 am Wednesday, December 7 at University United Methodist Church, 2220 N. Yale Ave., Wichita, KS 67220. Downing and Lahey East Mortuary
