K. Rachael Abbott, 83, of Mt. Horeb Rd., Princeton, W.Va., died Sunday, December 22, 1996 in the Harmony House of Athens. Born in Stuart, Va. January 31, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Kelly Martin Williams.

She was nondenominational in her faith. She had been a resident of Princeton since 1959 moving here from Premier, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Early Abbott; one granddaughter, Marla Lawrence Ball; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Lawrence and her husband, Marvin of Blacksburg, Va. and Betty Jean Davis and her husband, Harold of Princeton, W.Va.; one son, Ronald Abbott and his wife, Betty Jo of Baltimore, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Williams and his wife, Vivian of Green Valley.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the George W. Seaver Funeral Home Chapel in Princeton, W.Va. with Mr. Mark Peters and Mr. Rick Waller officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
