Staff Sergeant Domenic C. Andreoni, age 30, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.

He was a graduate of Lincoln Way East High School, Class of 2004. He was a member of the Boys Volleyball team.

Domenic enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman. He served with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in Okinawa, Japan. He was also a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Domenic was most recently assigned in Chicago as a Marine Corps Career Recruiter.

He received several military awards, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the NATO-International Security Assistance Force Medal.

Domenic was the loving husband of Cicely (nee McChesney) Andreoni, the cherished father to his daughter, Ryan Andreoni; He was the beloved son of Ceasar and Colleen (nee Carter) Andreoni; the dearest brother of Tricia (Paul) Boskey and Laura Greco; fond son-in-law of Todd and Rosalie McChesney; proud uncle of Isabella and Colin Boskey and Luca and Gino Greco; dear nephew of Cecilia J. Tacks, Beverly Greco and Patrick (JoAnn) McDonald and family; great nephew of Nancy (William) Werschin.
