Junior Dale Brown, son of Leonard Dotson and Gladys Nancy Davis Brown, was born August 10, 1940 in Decaturville, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Ozarks Methodist Manor and Health Care, Marionville, Missouri, at the age of seventy-six years, three months, and twenty-four days.

His parents; his children, Brenda, Kimberly, Sandra, and Douglas Brown; and his siblings, Ray, Wayne, Ronnie, and Donnie Brown preceded Junior in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Smith, of Marionville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nikki, Ashley, Douglas, and Justin; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Brown and wife Carolyn, of Montreal, Missouri and Ray Brown and wife Susan, of Stoutland, Missouri; his sister, Wilma Seaton, of Montreal, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

Junior spent his younger years living in Camden County and moved to Aurora where he worked for many years as a carpenter. He later worked for the Wastewater Department for the City of Marionville until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and in his spare time he enjoyed racing stock cars, fishing, hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman.

Junior was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
