In Loving Memory
Janice was born in Salt Lake City June 4, 1934 to Emily Smith and Louis Garrett Myers. Janice attended East High School and the University of Utah, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.
During college she worked at the L.D.S. Genelogical Society where her father was Superintendant. Janice taught in the West Valley School District and worked at Airborne Freight in Seattle, WA for 20 years. Romance budded when Janice's father brought home a Canadian for dinner and asked her to give him a tour of the city. Allan and Janice were married August 22, 1958. Janice was an avid gardner, fashionable seamstress and excellent cook. Truly a Proverbs 31 woman, "more precious than rubies." Janice is survived by her husband, Allan Hoben Neill, her 4 children; Tracey Ann Bradford, Allan Wallace Neill, Stephanie Schwantes, and Robert Garrett Neill, along with 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated, faithful friend, wife and mother. Like Sarah, her posterity calls her blessed.
Visitation will be held at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills - 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA on Friday, December 8 from 10am-8pm. Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Bothell Ward - 19215 88th Ave NE Bothell, WA on Saturday, December 9th, viewing will start at 10am and the service will be held at 11am with committal to follow at Acacia Memorial Park - 14951 Bothell Way NE Seattle, WA.
