Orvel W. Jones, 84, of Prescott, Ariz., died Wednesday. He was born in Kennett, Mo. Mr. Jones was retired after working as a cement finisher in construction.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Jones; daughters, Bonita Knudsen, Peggy Boozer, Sherry Weers and Sue Degenhardt; sons, Ronald and Dennis Jones; sister, Ora Johnson; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Erickson-Anderson Mortuary, 8390 Allison Ave., La Mesa. Services: noon Tuesday, Meridian Southern Baptist Church, 660 S. Third St., El Cajon.
