WHITTIER, Calif. - John Richard Nethery, a World War II and Korean War veteran, died Aug. 31, 1994. He was 69.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; two sons, John Nethery Jr. of Brea, Calif., and Neal Nethery of Mission Viejo, Calif. ; a daughter, Carole Love of Huntington Beach, Calif. ; two sisters, Martha Spencer of Corpus Christi and Miriam Gulager of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 7 at Rose Hills Mortuary, Whittier, Calif.
