Obituary: Jimette Baker 66, of Tucson, passed away, May 6, 2011. She was born to the late Harold and Mary Voorhees in Niagara Falls, NY in 1944 and married the late H. Robert Baker, Jr. in Tucson in 1976. Jimmie was a golfer at 49ers Country Club for many years. She also loved Arabian horses, travel and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one child, Carey Baker of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by two sisters, Marguerite Weirich of Tucson, AZ and Karen Bell of Bonifay, FL; as well as nieces, Marti Lorenzen of Phoenix, AZ, Deborah Everly of Clinton Township, MI and Dawn Bell of Duncan, SC; nephew, Daniel Bell III of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Fred (Virginia) Baker of Sonoita, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Community Food Bank. A Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY
