Sue, age 79, passed away at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Dorothy (Wheeler) Burdick. She married Roger Carpenter in August 1958, later divorced. Survivors include her sons, Brent Carpenter and Neal Carpenter, her brother, Larry Burdick, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church of Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial was in Mooreland Cemetery.
