Funeral services for Shelba Jean Arrington, age 77, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Greg Arrington officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty East Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Mrs. Arrington passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tina Heuer of Woodland; two sons, Gene Arrington and Joey Arrington, both of Woodland; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Geneva Kirby and Arine Pike, both of Rock Mills.

Pallbearers will be Joey Arrington, Avery Arrington, Gene Arrington, Dylan Arrington, Mitch Cooper, and Jeremy Heuer. Honorary pallbearers will be Doc Moody.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Arrington was born on October 22, 1939, the daughter of Albert and Susie Prather Pike. She was a member of Liberty East Baptist Church and was retired from Bremen-Bowdon Investments. Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce Arrington; and three brothers, Manuel Langley, Joe and Gerson Pike.
