Alice and George Aaron were married Sept. 12, 1923 in Greenville, TX. They made their home in Canadian for 40 years prior to moving to McAlester. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Christine Hearod of McAlester and Edith Speir of Jonesboro, GA; sons, William of Bakersfield, CA and Leon of California City, CA; two sisters, Ms. Jane Cook of Rockwall, TX and Mrs. James Brooks of McAlester; a brother, W. T. George of Greenville, TX. Funeral service was held Feb. 25, 1978 at Mills Funeral Home.
