She was preceded in death by her former husband, William Moriarty, parents James and Maisie Sewell, siblings Clifton, Nora, Jack, Bessie and James , sons George Douglas Lewis and Joseph Moriarty, grandson Mark Moriarty and brother-in-law Leo Moriarty. Survived by her sisters Inez Seifert and Wanda Billings, sister-in-law Yamile Moriarty, loving mother of Marilyn (Ted) Christman of Livermore, Diane (Frank) Cerros of Pleasanton and Micheal Moriarty of Castro Valley. Adored Grandchildren Christina (Shannon) Casha, Brian (Wendy) Christman, Maricella Garcia, Melissa (Brett) Ecoff, Michael (Ruby) Moriarty, Carrie (Steve) Delight, Frank Cerros Jr., Joe Moriarty and Matthew Moriarty. Daughter-in-law Maria Moriarty. Cherished Great- Grandchildren Clint, Brian Jr, Jenavieve, Olivia, Leo, Sophia, Evangeline and Brett Jr. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Freinds.
Marie has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 1954. She was proud of her Choctaw Indian heritage. She loved people and enjoyed working at J.C. Penney's until her retirement . Marie Loved her Family and Freinds Dearly and We Will Forever Miss Her.
