Betty Abbey passed peacefully in her sleep at Platinum Living Kentwood. Betty retired from Spectrum Health in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Constance Zych, sisters Ruth Marie, Dorothy, Barbara and brother Joseph. Surviving are her three children Diane Goodreau of Muskegon, Sharon Grant of Cascade, Raymond (Sharon) Abbey of Wyoming, one brother Raymond (Sandra) Zych of Alto, close to her cousin Richard Orlowski and niece Pam Rouwhorst, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Isidore Catholic Church 628 Diamond Ave NE Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
