Ann and Richard "Dick" Sayre were united in marriage on July 12, 1952 in Ash Grove. Together, Ann and Dick were privileged to share over 31 years of marriage before Dick's passing in 1983.
Ann attended Southwest Missouri State College and was a member of Delta Sigma Epsilon sorority. Ann spent her teaching career in Ash Grove and Bois D' Arc. She taught 1st grade for 23 years in her 25 years of teaching. She was a member of the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church of Ash Grove. Ann enjoyed traveling and watching Cardinals baseball. She also enjoyed reading and a good game of Bingo.
Ann is survived by daughter, Debbie Danderson Wright and husband Jack; son, Steve Sayre and wife Mary; sister-in-law, Margaret Turk.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son, and one brother, Joe Turk.
Graveside services in the Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
