Services for Albert E. Lohr, 82, 1223 N. 8th St., will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bruce Memorial Chapel with Dr. J. A. Leatherman, and the Rev. Otis McQuary, pastor of visitation of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Lohr died Monday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Woods.

Surviving are the widow, Lenora; daughters, Mrs. Calvin Jones and Mrs. Calvin Woods, both of Fort Dodge; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lohr was born and educated at Hubbard. In 1915, he married Lenora Hutchinson in Webster City. They lived in Hubbard for a short time before coming to Fort Dodge in 1916.

Mr. Lohr was employed here as credit manager for the Marso-Rodenborn Manufacturing Company. In 1936, the Lohrs moved to Trion Ga., where he became sales manager for the Riegel Textile Company, the gloves division.

They lived in Georgia for three years, returning to Fort Dodge in 1939. Mr. Lohr continued to work for the Reigel Company, and retired in 1952.

He had been in failing health for the past five years.

Mr. Lohr was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a long time member of the Masonic Order, and a member of Calvary Commandery No. 24, Fort Dodge.
