Vernon Mae McLendon born 5/26/28 reached the pearly gates on 3/15/2012. A Miami-native who's kind heart touched many lives. Preceded in death by husband O.E. McLendon. V. Mae loved to clip coupons, cross stitch and keep up with family/friends. A dabbler in real estate who owned properties in FL and GA. With heavy hearts she leaves behind daughter Patti McLendon (Kammi) who has big shoes to fill and will miss receiving her coupons. Grandsons, Tim, Jordan and Chris, whom she will haunt if they don't follow her request. Son Tom McLendon (Linda) always willing to fry up her favorite fish. Devoted sister Polly Boone, in which many a crossword puzzle were conquered together over coffee and burnt toast. Of late, V Mae lived with her niece and sister in Ft. Laud and shared laughter with Cindy's dear friends. She also leaves behind loving family members and friends too numerous to count. Her family would like you to honor her by reaching out to a friend or loved one. One of her strong points that made the world a better place.
