Norma was born Aug. 31, 1927 in Urbana, Illinois. She graduated from Champaign High.
Norma found the love of her life and married Gunnard "Russ" Ohlsson April 23, 1945. They were married for 71 years.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Russ; a sister, Velva; five brothers, Art, Elmer, Fred, Milton and Leo and a grandson, Carl Johnson.
She is survived by sons, Dennis "Ole" (Sandi) Ohlsson, Larry (Anda) Ohlsson and David (Julie) Ohlsson; a daughter, Deborah Gross and sister, Vera Rogers.
Norma has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends.
She and her husband were members at Grace Lutheran Church in Champaign.
Her favorite past time was playing bridge. She was very active in AL-ANON Program in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
