Johnson Andrew Childers, 61, of Lonoke, died Sunday, March 3, 1985 at the veteran's hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was a self-employed building contractor and had lived in the McElroy community before moving to Lonoke in 1952.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Catherine (Jones) Childers; two sons: Kenneth Childers of Greenbriar and Darrell Childers of Lonoke; three brothers: Willis Childers of Wynne, Louis Childers of Searcy and Charles Childers of Jacksonville; three sisters: Theodora Crawford of Cherry Valley, Viva Haynes of Searcy and Elva Sutherlen of Greenwood; two grandchildren.
