Funeral services for Louise Childers, 70, of Lonoke were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Kernodle Funeral Home chapel in Wynne. Burial followed by McElroy Cemetery in Wynne with the Rev. John McEwen and the Rev. Gary Burdin officiating.
Mrs. Childers died Sunday, Sept 12, at the Rebsamen Regional Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Childers was the wife of the late Johnson A. Childers and the daughter of the late Gilson Jones and Garmelia Clark Jones.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wayne Childers of Greenbrier and Darrell Ray Childers of Lonoke; three brothers, Leroy Jones of Lonoke, Robert W. Jones of Cabot and Troy S. Jones of Wynne; three sisters, Mildred Dodge of Ada, Okla., Helen Buchy of North Port, Fla. and JoAnn Webster of Lonoke; and three grandchildren.
