Tarrillion was born on January 7, 1920 in Kerrville, Texas to William and Anne Tarrillion. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, he was a 1937 graduate of Central Catholic High School and 1941 graduate of St. Mary's University with a degree in accounting, Summa Cum Laude. A veteran of World War II, he entered the Army Air Corps with enlisted status and was elevated to the rank of Captain by the time of his discharge. He was a lath and plastering contractor and co-owned Tarrillion Plastering Company for over 30 years. Mr. Tarrillion was previously a member of St. Paul's Parish and a member of Holy Spirit Parish for 34 years. He was also a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Council 786, and a member of the Order of the Alhambra. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie Tarrillion and his beloved wife of 60 years, Marion J. (Bauml) Tarrillion. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Charles W. "Chuck" Tarrillion, Jr. of San Antonio, Timothy and Melody Tarrillion of Houston, and Donald and Susan Tarrillion of San Antonio; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and John Belter of Boerne, Patricia and Robert Pish of San Antonio, Susan and James Nesrsta of San Antonio, Diane and Stephen Wyrick of San Antonio, and Julie and Don Schad of Spring; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Tarrillion, Rev. Joseph Tarrillon, S.M., and Robert Tarrillion; sister, Helen Marie Crumrine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
