Jack R. Snelling, 70, of Wayne Township, died Friday, December 9, 2016, at Westover Retirement Community. He was born in Middletown on April 23, 1946 to parents Claude and Estella Mae (Borders) Snelling.

Jack worked at Armco Steel Corp for 30 years. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of V.F.W #7670.

Mr. Snelling is survived by his siblings, Michael (Shirley) Snelling, Kathy (John) James, Larry (Kathy) Snelling, William Snelling & Cheryl Snelling; and adopted grandson, Matt Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Claude Snelling Jr., Eloise Holder, Donald Snelling, Paul Snelling, Betty Dearth, Allen Snelling, Eugene Snelling, Thomas Snelling, Rick Snelling & an infant brother; and his dear companion, Connie Sue Harpe.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 am at Woodside Cemetery, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown with military honors conducted by the Overpeck V.F.W. #7670 Honor Guard.
