Seven Valleys April 17 - Suffering a heart attack, Henry Dise, a retired farmer, collapsed and died on the back porch, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr.and Mrs. Jacob Krout, near here, at 5 p.m. today. He was 80 years old. Mr. Dise had been residing with his daughter, since he held sale of his farm, near Hametown, four weeks ago. He complained of not feeling well shortly after coming here, but had been able to be about. Shortly before the evening meal, he stepped out onto the back porch, where he collapsed. Dr. J. J. Skelly, this place, was summoned. The physician found that death had already occurred, and he notified the coroner L.U. Zech, who issued the death certificate. Mr. Dise had engaged in farming in the Hametown area for many years. He was a lifelong member of Hametown Lutheran Church. Surviving are eight children; Mrs. Michael Rackel, York R.D.; Miss Lucy Edna Dise, York; Mrs. Krout at whose home he died; Clement H. Dise, near Lineboro; Emory L. Dise, near here; Palmer A. Dise, near Glen Rock; Alvin L. Dise, Loganville; and Mrs. Levi Keener, York R.D. 2; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Filmore Seitz, Glen Rock; and Mrs. Calvin Fair, near Starview; and one brother, Oscar Dise, Glen Rock, R.D. The funeral will be held Monday, with brief services at the Krout home at 9:30 a.m. and concluding services at the Hametown Lutheran Church. The Rev. Hugo Schroder, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral directors G. W. Geiple and son, Glen Rock, have charge of the arrangements.
