Richard Emil August English was born in Germany to Theodor and Henriette (Külewthal) Englisch on June 22, 1860. He arrived in Nebraska in the early 1880's. He married first Anna Eichstaedt on February 2, 1887. She died in 1898. They had at least 6 children together. He married 2nd Emma Stabrei November 28, 1898; divorce being granted January 6, 1900. One child was born to this union. He married 3rd Dorothea "Dora" Boettcher on March 28, 1900, and divorced in abt.1931. They had at least 5 children together. He was a father to 12 children with 9 living to adulthood. Richard was a mail carrier/postal worker for 40 years in Omaha, NE. He died November 20, 1947.
