Carmela R. Gattone Petix, 63, died Friday, August 24, 2007 at her residence. Born in Raritan, NJ, she resided in Flemington for many years before moving to Macungie in 2003.
She was a homemaker who was a gourmet food shopper and an avid cook for her family. She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren.
Carmela was preceded in death by her parents, Rocco and Aida Barone Gattone and her brother, Rocco Gattone.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 37 years, Kenneth (Ken), her loving daughter, Donna Kitchell, and husband, Joseph, of Bethlehem, PA, her loving sons, Kevin, and wife, Karin of Holland Township, Brian, and wife, Lauren, of Macungie and her cherished grandchildren, Breanna and Thomas Kitchell.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:45 AM with a prayer at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Ann's R.C. Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ. Visitation hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
