CAMPBELLSBURG Isaac Drew, 94, Campbellsburg, died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday at his residence.
Born in McKee, Ky., he was the son of Benjamin and Mary (Hilliard) Drew. He married Gladys Fleetwood in 1924, and she died April 22, 1988.
He was a former industrial blacksmith at Fisher Body Inc., Detroit, Mich., and a retired farmer. He attended Claysville Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, William Drew of Batesville; two daughters: Bernadine McIntosh of Miami, Fla., and Betty J. Poe of Campbellsburg; four half brothers: Raleigh Malicote of New Orleans, La., Hubert and Henry Malicote, both of Hamilton, Ohio, and Tom M
alicote of Pasco Robles, Calif.; two sisters: Martha Lindley of Lebanon and Eva Boyd of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home, Salem, with Bros. Larry Williams and Robert Holler officiating. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery, Campbellsburg.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
