Mrs. Virginia Louise Oliverio, age 96, of # 1 High Street, Eastview, Clarksburg,
WV, passed away at her residence at 11:00 P.M. Monday, January 30, 2012. She
was born February 10, 1915 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Giuseppe
Minardi and Costanzia Angotti Minardi.

She was preceded in death June 20, 1995, by her husband, Samuel L. Oliverio,
whom she married January 22, 1939.

Surviving are: two sons & daughters-in-law, John E. & Sara Oliverio, Clarksburg,
WV and Joseph A. & Bonne Oliverio, Mentor, OH, nine grandchildren & spouses,
Bianca J. Oliverio, Wichita Falls, TX, Tia M. & Jim Davis, Jon-Michael & Susan
Oliverio, Alicia D. & Chris Cruz all of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Julie Callum & her
husband, Dr. Michael Callum, Boston, MA, Paul & Monica Oliverio, Marysville,
OH, Jarrett Oliverio, MD, Rachel & Jonathan Critchfield, NJ and Samantha &
George Farmer, Charlotte, NC, a step-grandson, David Criss, Clarksburg,WV,
fifteen great grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren, and several nieces &
nephews.

Mrs. Oliverio was also preceded in death by a son, Samuel R. Oliverio, a step-
granddaughter, Sandra Wallace, four brothers; Ernest, Mike, Sam & Uberto
Minardi and four sisters, Mary Skinner, Catherine Mahoney, Ann Alvino &
Susan Ielapi. She was the last surviving member of the original Giuseppe Minard
family.

Virginia was a graduate of Washington Irving High School – Class of 1933. She
was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of
Catholic Daughters of America at the church. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Oliverio's family would like to give a special “Thank You” to; Dr. Wm. Bowles,
Dr. S. M. Reddy & Dr. Mark Hrko and to her wonderful caregivers; Betty Grogan,
Hiroko Lesser & Barbie Cochran.

Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 4:00 – 8:00 P. M. on Thursday. A Vigil Prayer Service at
6:00 P. M. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 10:00 A. M. with the
Rev. Father Doug Ondeck as Celebrant. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
