Susan Kay Alfred, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her home in Rush Springs. A dinner will be held at 12PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Cox City Baptist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2PM. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Rush Springs.
Susan was born Sunday, December 23, 1951 in Lawton to H.K. and Melvina (Ulery) Bussey. She attended and graduated from Lawton High School. Susan made the Rush Springs area her home most all of her life. She married her sweetheart, David Alfred in Morgan City, LA on September 5, 1999.
Susan made her life's work making a home for her family and taking care of her loved ones. She enjoyed crocheting and making ceramics, she had an artist touch. Susan was a social person she enjoyed being out and visiting with family and friends. She loved to cook for her family and always had an open home. Susan was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her dearly.
