Mr. Andrew ``June`` Baumgardner, 71, of 418 Stilwell Oaks Cir. died April 19, 1990, at Brian Center nursing home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at McEwen Funeral Home, Derita chapel. Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight.

Mr. Baumgardner, a Grover native, retired as a Southern Railroad yard
conductor after 41 years. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret; daughters, Mrs. Judy Allison of
Chesapeake, Va., Mrs. Carol Breneman of Indian Trail; brothers, Harry
Baumgardner of Greenville, S.C., Clayton Baumgardner; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle
Adams of Matthews, Mrs. Montie Crisp of Grover; stepson, Paul Heaton; four
grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 6050 Hickory Grove
Rd., Charlotte, N.C. 28215.
